Illinois House Passes College Financial Aid Access for Justice-Impacted Individuals

Chicago Advances Reentry Support with Women’s Center Initiative

Chicago’s Mayor’s Office of Reentry, in partnership with the Department of Family and Supportive Services, issued a Request for Proposals to establish the city’s first Women’s Reentry Support Center, aiming for a January 2026 launch. Designed to provide trauma-responsive navigation, mental and behavioral health connections, housing and employment assistance, family reunification support, and holistic wellness services, this center reflects a unique gender-responsive approach to reentry support.
